Pastlas can be found: a page for every change, a feed, a sitemap, and a page that says what is open
- Data and accuracy
- Sharing and links
The atlas used to be invisible to a search engine and to an AI assistant: every address was an empty page filled in by script, under one name whatever was open. The ground for being found is laid: real pages a crawler can read, the machine's own files, and a document that says what it holds.
- Every change has a page of its own, so a release note can be sent and found; What’s new is readable before any script runs, and has an Atom feed.
- A new Data page lists every file the atlas serves, what each holds and under which licence, with the counts the atlas prints about itself, read from the files at build.
- A shared link now says what it opens: the tab and the search result read the entry’s name and years, and each entry has one address of its own.
- A sitemap, a robots file that welcomes every crawler and AI assistant, a page for an address that is not in the atlas, and llms.txt, where a machine starts.
- The atlas's own name is Pastlas, and its tab says so.
